A genuinely sweet loving couple, Ingrid & Ian met in Wallaroo, Ian proposed to Ingrid down the beach at Wallaroo, and they married at their holiday house on the marina there. Thanks again for having us there to capture your wedding photos!
Thank you to the celebrant Bec Wilson for recommending me – Bec’s an ABIA 2012 Finalist, and can be found here http://www.rebeccawilson.com.au/
A place to make a home. A place to raise a family. A place Ben and Heidi chose to wed. I can’t imagine many places more appropriate for any of these three purposes.
Katie and Stephen shared a sweet ceremony on the lawns of K1 Winery in McLaren Vale. The winery has a great mix of garden areas, vines and a dam. Katie arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, so we also took photos with the horses (but you’ll have to wait for the slideshow for most of those photos).
Stephen was probably the most relaxed Groom I’ve seen before the ceremony. When I commented that he seemed relaxed, he replied that he was fairly nerves-free, but was likely to get emotional. As Katie walked down the isle he showed a few signs of emotions, but held it together for the whole ceremony. But when they were announced at the end, he couldn’t hold back the emotions any longer. It was really sweet. He shared a beautiful moment with Katie’s father; one of my favourite photos from this year.
The reception was also great fun – lots of guests enjoyed using the props and there was plenty of dancing – especially from one 12 year old boy, who would use an imaginary cowboy lasso to pull girls onto the dancefloor, and then completely out-dance them.
Lisa & Joe were married in the Cycad Collection in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Close to 100 guests attended to Catholic ceremony – a number tripled for their reception.
They chose Monaros as their preferred mode of transport, and we visited some graffiti spots around Adelaide City as well as Melt cafe for a coffee.
Congratulations Lisa & Joe!
Katie & Stephen sharing a serene moment before some laughs with the bridal party. On the deck of K1 Winery near McLaren Vale, overlooking the beautiful lake and vineyards.
Kana & Ryuichi met at this very movie theatre. They both worked there and many of the guests at their wedding party were past and present employees of the cinema.
So after the party we walked over [with some difficulty in the kimonos] to the movie theatre and had a bit of fun. The last photo is a mock sumo match (with Kana-chan reffing).
