Adelaide wedding photographer capturing stories, not just taking pictures
Stephen proposed to Katie on a beach, so it was fitting to return to one for their engagement shoot.

First shot from Katie & Stephen’s engagement shoot.

Shelle & Anthony are down-to-earth and an easy couple to get along with. Having kids they are well grounded, but I think too that they were a little excited to do this engagement session. I know how hard it is organising a baby sitter and getting some time together with your partner when you’ve got (especially little) kids. Which made this engagement session feel a little different to previous ones.
Usually engagement sessions are about capturing a segment of life before marriage (not that anything changes, of course
). But this one was, perhaps, more about revisiting the days before starting a family. Although we headed to Larg’s Bay jetty/beach, it was freakin’ freezing outside, so we headed inside the Larg’s Bay Hotel to have a wonder around and do coffee.
Can’t wait to photograph

Meet Lily and Aaron. Vivacious, outgoing and with plenty of chemistry. We headed to Port Adelaide just before sunset to take some casual outdoor photos around old buildings and the Port River. Aaron and Lily saw dolphins – unfortunately they didn’t surface for me! May be next time.
Meet Monica and John. An intelligent, loving and – I can’t think a of better adjective than – utterly cute couple. As Monica & John both have connections to the Adelaide University, and it’s such a great place (I could spend hours and hours there photographing the different scenes) that’s where we went for their engagement shoot.
